The Räblus in Biel is a traditional fish restaurant, situated on the Lake, in the ancient village of Vigneules (now Biel/Bienne), and is only a 25 minute stroll or 5 minute bus ride from the centre of town and the main Station. Highway N5 goes by it on the north side and the tourist boat station is a 15 minute walk away.
A generous flower and vegetable garden extends in front of it and down to the water on the south side and its’ produce can be enjoyed at your table. To the north and east, the family vineyards offer a visa of green and the promise of more of the wine for which the region, particularly our cellar, is noted.
For over 50 years our customers have most often chosen to order perch, either lightly deep fried or meunière. They also adore our pike (in season) and white fish, both of which come from the Lake.
The kitchen is pleased to offer a choice of meat, salads, vegetarian plates and a children’s menu as well. No one’s preferences are ignored here.
